Doug

Let me introduce my brother, Doug.

Our parents, Roger and Mary Lou  Birdsall, moved to Boise, Idaho, after graduating from Huntington Seminary and Huntington College in 1950. Two years later I was born; 15 months later, Doug arrived with a "belated bang" on July 5th. This picture was taken on Doug's 50th birthday during our Birdsall family reunion in Estes Park, Colorado. If you look closely, you'll see that his shirt is embroidered with "I'm 50" which I gave him to commemorate his arrival at the half century mark. I'm so pleased that I can be part of Cape Town 2010 which has been Doug's primary focus for the last three years.
